Simplygiving is for free to use for charities, non-profits, social enterprises, personal fundraisers and companies looking to fundraise for a cause.
To cover our costs and continue investing in the platforms and tools for growth, at the time of transaction we ask donors for an optional fee on top of their donation to you. (Donor Tips)
When someone donates through a Simplygiving donation form, we will present them with a checkbox within the form asking them to add a small amount to their donation.
The checkbox will be checked by default, and it states that the fee covers your fundraising costs, as this fee enables Simplygiving to develop and grow for your needs.
If the donor chooses to pay this optional Donor Tips on top of their donation, the fee will come to Simplygiving.
REFERENCE EXAMPLE
To illustrate how our fee works, consider the following scenario:
Debbie is donating to Global Cause, an Singapore nonprofit. She selects a donation of $50.
She will see a checkbox that says "DonorPays", in this example an additional $2.50
Debbie leaves the box checked and clicks "Donate $52.50".
Global Cause's Stripe account processes the $52.50 donation resulting in the following breakdown of fees:
Total Debbie paid: $52.50
SimplyGiving Fee: $2.50 (paid directly to SimplyGiving)
Stripe Processing Fee (in Singapore): $1.04 (taken from the Donation amount)
Net Received by Global Cause: $48.96 (paid directly to Global Cause)

To activate your fundraising campaign to receive donations, you need to connect your own Stripe or PayPal account.
Like most payment gateways, Stripe and PayPal charge a credit card processing fee on each transaction. You can use the links below to find fees for each of these providers:
Stripe fees
Razorpay fees
PayPal fees
If you are a tax-deductible organisation or a registered charity, we recommend you contact Stripe and PayPal for non-profit discounts. Email nonprofit@stripe.com, or visit your region's PayPal support site, to enquire about your local rates once you have set up an account.
If your organisation is tax-deductible in your jurisdiction, the Simplygiving fee generally is too. The full transaction amount is first processed by the payment gateway account, then the Simplygiving fee is taken as a service fee if the donor chose to cover it.
As a donor will only see one transaction on their statement, and since the whole amount goes to the non-profit first, the whole donation is usually tax-deductible

Yes, we know... it's easy to say it, but that's the fact. We did put a lot of thought into the template. Trend Trail was designed by an award-winning designer. Layouts you will find in our template are custom made to fit the industry after carefully made research.
We used our best practices to make sure your new website loads fast. All of the images are compressed to have as little size as possible. Whenever possible we used vector formats - the format made for the web.
Trend Trail is optimized to offer a frictionless experience on every screen. No matter how you combine our sections, they will look good on desktop, tablet, and phone.
Both complex and simple animations are an inseparable element of modern website. We created our animations in a way that can be easily reused, even by Webflow beginners.
Our template is modular, meaning you can combine different sections as well as single elements, like buttons, images, etc. with each other without losing on consistency of the design. Long story short, different elements will always look good together.
On top of being modular, Trend Trail was created using the best Webflow techniques, like: global Color Swatches, reusable classes, symbols and more.
Trend Trail includes a blog collection that is made on the powerful Webflow CMS. This will let you add new content extremely easily.
Trend Trail Template comes with eCommerce set up, so you can start selling your services straight away.
To give you 100% control over the design, together with Webflow project, you also get the Figma file.
